Q: Do I need a visa to visit Turkey ?

Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality. The most reliable source of visa information is a consulate of Turkey in your country or the website of Turkish Republic Foreign Affairs Ministry, www.mfa.gov.tr

Q: Is it safe to drink tap water in Turkey?
A:
Turkey practices safe sanitation standards and tap water is suitable for drinking, bathing and other regular tasks. However, it is customary in most Mediterranean countries, the majority of visitors drink bottled water. In some cases, the water may be "harder" (contain more minerals) than you're immune system is used to or it may have an unusual taste, but it's still safe to drink.

Q: What currency should I use?
A: In Turkey, US Dollars, British Pounds and Euro are very widely accepted, especially for large purchases. Also, you'll get a much better rate of exchange if you obtain Turkish liras (whether by changing money or from a cash machine) in Turkey itself rather than in another country.


Q: What do I do if I need to urgently contact your office while traveling?

You will be given vouchers and reading documents prior to your travels along with your travel consultants 24 hour contact numbers, however you may simply ask your guide if you are on a tour or your hotel reception while at your hotel and they will happily put you through to one of our offices as soon as possible

Q.Why do I have to reserve ? Can’t I just hail you down in the street like a taxi ?
A.istanbul transport law states that all of the clients in each of our vehicles must have a pre-booked reservation.

Q.How far in advance do I need to book?
A. You must reserve your transfer at least 24 hours in advance, but the best is more than 2 days before your arrival/departure.

Q.When is your earliest pick-up at the airport ? And Your latest?
A. Private service runs 24/24 7/7. However, please note you will have a supplement for night booking or reservation on saturday or sunday.

Q. Where must I go when I arrive at the airport ?
A. The driver will be waiting you after the custom with your name on a panel.

Q. Are your vehicles non smoking? Air conditionned? How many do they seat ?

A. All vehicles are non smoking and air conditioned. We have 4 seater cars, 8 seater vans and 17 seater minibus.

Q. Why I have to confirm my departure reservation ?
A.For your departure reservation, you must call cicektourism.com (number will be written on your confirmation) in order to confirm the pick up with the driver.

Q. How far in advance can I change or cancel my reservation ?
A. Reservations can be changed or cancelled up to 24 hours before transfer with no charge. After this time, no refund are possible.

Q. What's up if my arriving flight is delayed ?
A. Our driver will be wait until your plane land
without additional charge.

Q. At which terminal will the driver drop me off ?
A.The driver drops you off at the correct terminal of the airline that you are flying with. That's why we need for the departure your correct flight information.

Q. How much should I tip the driver?
A.Tips are at the discretion of the passenger and according to the service they received.

Q:  How do I change or cancel my reservation?
A:  Call the reservation phone number (+90 212 653 15 92), or send us an e-mail(info@cicektourism.com) to change or cancel your reservation. Please remember that changing dates, locations and type and class of vehicle may change the rate on your reservation.

Q:  Can I reserve a specific make/model of car?
A:  Yes you can. Please confirm your car features at the time of reservations.

Q:  How can I make the payment?
A:  We accept payments at the time we deliver the car or by faxing us the mail order form which can be provided to you via e-mail by request. You can make the payment by credit card at the time of delivery as well.

Q:  For how long will Cicek Tourism hold my confirmed vehicle?
A:  It is the policy of Cicek Tourism to have available the vehicle confirmed for a period of up to 12 hours after the scheduled arrival time. It is the customer's responsibility as the renter to notify our reservation center. This will ensure that the location continues to hold the vehicle. Failure to do so will result in the release of the vehicle.

Q:  How will I find car when I arrive to Ataturk or Sabiha Gokcen Airport?
A:  The car will be delivered to you at Ataturk Airport or Sabiha Gokcen Airport on the agreed date and time with a signboard that has your name written on.

Q:  Can anyone other than myself drive the car?
A:  Only the approved person(s) at the time of rental can drive the car

Q:  Is there an additional charge if there will be more than one driver?
A:  No, there is no any extra charge for additional drivers. You can have up to three drivers in your contract completely for free.

Q:  What happens if I return the car late?
A:  Late returns can affect the type of rate assigned to the rental. Returns which are less than 1 hour late will not be charged. Returns which are later than 1 hour will be charged for an extra day. A late return of 3 hours will usually result in charge of another day.

Q:  How do I arrange to extend my rental period?
A:  Please call the main office in istanbul directly to extend your rental. The office's phone number (+90 212 653 15 92) is also on the rental agreement.

Q:  What if I have a problem with the car?
A:  Cicek Tourism provides emergency roadside assistance. At the time of rental ask the representative to inform you about this service. This service is completely free and is a 24/7 service.

Q:  Can I pay by credit card?
A:  Cicek Tourism honors most major credit/charge cards as a form of payment  master card, visa.

Q:  Can I pay by check?
A:  Upon presentation of proper identification, traveler's checks may also be used in payment of rental charges.

Q:  What should I do in the case of an accident?
A:  First contact the police to complete an accident report and immediately contact the. Emergency Road Side Service telephone number (+90 535 212 90 11). You may find the phone information on the front or back of your rental agreement.

Q:  Are taxes included in the rate quoted?
A:  All local taxes are included in rate quote.

Q:  How old do you have to be to rent a car?
A:  The minimum rental age is 22 on all rentals.

Q:  What if I get a traffic violation while in possession of a Cicek Tourism rental vehicle?
A:  The renter of any car is liable for all parking and traffic violations.

Q: What are the check-in and check-out times of a hotel?
A:
Check-in and check-out times differ for each hotel. You will find them on the "Hotel Policies" section at the
     bottom of the hotel page as well as on your confirmation email.


Q:  I will be arriving earlier/later than the stated check-in time. Can I still check-in?
A:
Only the hotel can confirm different check-in times than the ones stated on the hotel’s page. We advise you 
     to let the hotel know your estimated time of arrival at the time of booking by using the "Remarks" box in the
     reservation form. After completing your booking please contact the hotel directly to confirm your arrival
     time, using the contact details in your confirmation email.

 Q: I want to check out after the stated check out time. What should I do?

A A: Pre-arrangement of late check out is generally not possible due to availability of the rooms. We advise
      that, during your stay, you ask at reception if late check-out is possible. Please note that charges may be
      applicable.

Q: How do I get more information about the room or hotel facilities?

A:
All the information we have is displayed on our website; for more information about the room please click
     on "More information" by the room type. For more information about the hotel facilities please look in
     "hotel facilities" on the hotel page. If you have already made your reservation you can contact the hotel
     directly with the contact details provided on your confirmation email.

Q: How do I find out if a hotel allows pets?
A: Pet policies are always displayed on the hotel’s page under "Hotel Policies".

Q: I want a smoking room however I can only choose a non-smoking room. How can I request a smoking
     room?

A: When making your reservation, if there is only the option for non-smoking rooms it means that the hotel
     does not offer any smoking rooms.

Q: Do you pick us up at our hotel?
A: Yes. We kindly request our guests to be ready 10 minutes before departure time.

Q: 
What's the difference between a Daily Tour and a Private Tour?
A:
Our daily tours are for mixed groups and single riders that do not know one another. Our private tours
only have your group in the tour. You can book either a private van, shuttle or walking tour.


 Q:
What is the age limit for kids pricing?
A A: 30% discount for children below the age 7, free for the ages 0-2, in İstanbul city tours only.

Q:
What additional expenses should we expect?
A:
Nothing. Fees of İstanbul Tours include transportation, guide, entrance fees, meals as mentioned and V.A.T.

No. Your driver and Tour Guide will greatly appreciate any gratuities you give them.
